Anne
Connor Sheppard is a leader in the field of Occupational
Rehabilitation in Newfoundland and Labrador with 28 years
experience in the practice of Occupational Therapy. Her
extensive experience includes clinical therapist and
department head throughout the Public Health Care System. In
1995 Anne began her private practice in Carbonear,
Newfoundland with subsequent expansion to Bay Roberts and
St. John’s. Anne ‘s expertise in functional capacity
evaluations, worksite occupational rehabilitation, job site
analysis, work station reviews and vocational rehabilitation
provides the client with comprehensive reliable results. As
a volunteer Anne has held positions both at the provincial
and national level in the professional associations of
Occupational Therapy and the Canadian Association of
Rehabilitation Professionals. As a community volunteer she
has contributed to the development of a local youth centre
and wheelchair accessability advocacy group.
In her
private practice Anne consults and works with Clients,
Employers, Kinesiologists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors,
Physicians, Social Workers, Psychologists and Case Managers
to facilitate safe and suitable early intervention and
return-to-work programs.
