A standardized objective analysis of a client’s ability to perform Activities of Daily Living and homemaking tasks. It identifies factors relating to safety in home environment both from a physical ability and motor planning perspective. These assessments are completed by Occupational Therapists trained in the Assessment of Motor and Processing Skills. The resulting report will provide recommendations for improvement for independence in the home. Upon request we can provide follow up services for the implementation of these recommendations. Areas assessed include mobility and the prescription of wheelchairs or mobility devices, prescription of adaptive equipment and or training in methods designed to increase an individual’s independence in activities of daily living.
