Baseline
Assessment
This is an assessment, which is preformed by an Occupational
Therapist, to determine an individual’s functional
abilities in relation to a return to work program . The
individual may be recently injured thus
the
assessment is primarily used to
determine present capacity for work or to perform activities
of daily living This assessment does not provide maximum
tolerance predictors. This assessment is used primarily to
facilitate the individuals transition to work after an
injury and to establish their safe abilities to perform
tasks at work while they are undergoing their rehabilitation
programs.
