An objective
evaluation which identifies specific job demands pertinent
to the diagnosis identified. The Therapist would review the
signs and symptoms identified by a worker in comparison to
their job demands and work performance. This type of
assessment is to be used in the process of adjudicating
potential WHSCC work injury claims. This assessment is part
of the information gathered by WHSCC when adjudicating a
claim. This assessment does not provide conclusions in
relation to the merit of the injury .
Ideally, the worker should be present to specifically
identify environmental set-up and/or equipment design
hazards in relation to the worker’s anthropometric
measurements and individual behavioral requirements.
Administrative issues contributing to signs and symptoms, as
well as other hazards (not related to the signs and symptoms
of the worker) are also identified in the report. An
Adjudication Assessment is performed by an Occupational
Therapist.
